Day 1

Day 1: Check Your Heart

Scripture:

Haggai 1:5, 7; 2:15, 18

As we begin this week, it's essential to pause and reflect on our lives. Haggai prompts us to 'consider our ways.' This means taking inventory of our hearts and how we are living out our faith. Are we investing in God’s priorities, or merely surviving?

Ask yourself:

  • Where am I investing my time, energy, and resources?
  • How do my choices affect my community?

Reflection:

Where am I investing my time, energy, and resources?

Reflection Questions:

1.

What areas of my life need realignment with God's priorities?

2.

Am I avoiding any responsibilities that God is calling me to take?

3.

How can I encourage my community to also invest in God’s work?

Prayer:

Lord, help me to examine my heart and redirect my energies toward Your priorities. Amen.

Day 2

Day 2: Worship Ain’t Real Until It’s Personal

Scripture:

Haggai 1:12–13

True worship stems from a personal relationship with God. The Israelites responded with reverence and obedience, which led to God's promise: 'I am with you.' Reflect on your worship this week. Is it routine, or is it personal?

Consider what it means to have a real response to God’s Word in faith.

Reflection:

Is my worship personal or just routine?

Reflection Questions:

1.

What steps can I take to deepen my worship experience?

2.

How can I make my prayer life more intimate?

3.

In what areas am I resisting God’s call to worship Him fully?

Prayer:

Father, draw me closer to You. Help my worship to be genuine and heartfelt. Amen.

Day 3

Day 3: When Obedience Feels Small—God’s Encouragement

Scripture:

Haggai 1:14–2:5

Sometimes, our efforts for God may seem insignificant, but He values every act of obedience. God encourages His people, reminding us that He is at work even when we cannot see it. Think about Zerubbabel and Joshua—leaders who pointed to Christ.

Trust that God is building something greater than you can see.

Reflection:

Do I feel like my efforts are insignificant?

Reflection Questions:

1.

How can I celebrate the small victories in my faith journey?

2.

What does it mean to trust God when I cannot see the bigger picture?

3.

In what ways can I encourage others to remain faithful in their obedience?

Prayer:

Lord, remind me that no act of obedience is too small in Your eyes. Encourage my heart when I feel discouraged. Amen.

Day 4

Day 4: Trusting God’s Promise

Scripture:

Haggai 2:4

God assures us of His presence and promises, 'I am with you.' This assurance should embolden us to step out in faith, despite our discouragement. Reflect on how God has been present in your life, especially during challenging times.

Reflection:

How has God proven His faithfulness to me in the past?

Reflection Questions:

1.

What promises from God do I need to claim today?

2.

How can I rest in the truth of His presence?

3.

What fears do I need to surrender to Him today?

Prayer:

Gracious God, thank You for Your promises. Help me to lean on Your presence and trust in Your faithfulness. Amen.

Day 5

Day 5: A Community Called to Rebuild

Scripture:

Haggai 2:5

As we conclude this week, we recognize that we are a community called to rebuild together. God works through us collectively. Reflect on how you can encourage and support others in their rebuilding journeys.

Consider ways to be a light and strength to your church community.

Reflection:

How can I contribute to the rebuilding in my church community?

Reflection Questions:

1.

In what ways can I support someone who is struggling?

2.

How can we, as a community, invest in God’s priorities together?

3.

What role is God calling me to play in this rebuilding process?

Prayer:

Lord, unite us as a community to rebuild in faith. Help us to support one another and pursue Your priorities together. Amen.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, we thank You for guiding us through this week. May we continue to rebuild our hearts and lives in devotion to You. Help us to encourage one another as we walk in faith together. Amen.
